About Cáfnes™

Cáfnes is the translation of “energy” into Old English.

Cáfnes is the impetus behind all motion and all activity.

The Cáfnes Foundation offers a set of principles delivered through healing, mindfulness, and movement. The practice Cáfnes is unique and designed for our times, yet draws energy from ancient cultures.

Cafnes puts you at the centre of transforming the world around you.


The Cáfnes Principles

1. Interconnected – we are all connected to everything and everyone. Every action, word or thought has an impact on the world. Understanding our connection means that we have respect for nature and act in a way that avoids harm to the natural world around us.

2. Self care – if we let go of trapped trauma and worries, release blockages and start by healing ourselves, we have a positive impact on everything and everyone. We aim to be healthy, happy and at peace.

3. Compassion – we respond to conflict with empathy, nonviolence and creativity. We seek to understand hatred and greed and resolve it from its’ root cause, with kindness.

4. Gratitude – we recognise our blessings and the abundance around us. We see the benefits of going without at times, and the benefits of helping others. We will also stand up for our rights and the rights of others.
